Level 3 – Case Supervision

Next Level 3 from 14. - 15. March 2026

About the Case Supervision Training

The Level 3 seminar marks the final stage of the training in Integrative Attachment Therapy (IAT) and focuses on the in-depth clinical application and supervision of the method. Building on the foundations laid in Levels 1 and 2, the emphasis is on working with real case material from participants’ clinical practice.

The goal is to deepen and refine the therapeutic skills developed in previous modules—especially for working with more complex attachment dynamics, resistance, and long-term therapeutic processes.

Participants are invited to bring anonymized transcripts or audio recordings of their sessions. These case processes will be collectively discussed, analyzed, and therapeutically reflected upon with reference to the four primary attachment styles.

This training marks the transition to professional application and supervision within the IAT framework. It qualifies participants to independently practice as certified IAT therapists within the international community.

Format:

The seminar spans two intensive days and will be conducted in English. For participants who prefer translation, an AI-assisted simultaneous German translation can be booked additionally.

The training is structured around interactive dialogue, experiential learning, and case-focused work. Clinical supervision, peer exchange, and the development of therapeutic sensitivity to different attachment styles are at the core of this module.

The seminar will not be conducted by Stefan Passvogel. Instead, internationally renowned IAT experts Dr. David Elliott (USA) and Dr. Nigel Denning (Australia) will travel to Germany to personally lead the training.

Training Objectives:

  • Apply the Three Pillars of Integrative Attachment Therapy to your own clinical cases and deepen implementation through collective reflection.

  • Work with complex, stagnant, or challenging therapy processes and expand your diagnostic and therapeutic tools.

  • Identify and treat insecure attachment styles based on real-life therapy processes, enhancing your sensitivity to relational dynamics.

  • Safely integrate the Ideal Parent Figure Method into complex clinical settings, tailoring interventions to your clients’ attachment patterns.

  • Strengthen your capacity for self-reflection, therapeutic presence, and subtle diagnostic awareness of implicit relational patterns.

  • Qualify for professional practice in IAT and join the international Integrative Attachment Therapy community.

Cost:

The training fee is €580.

The total cost for accommodation (€155 per night) and the conference package including meals (€77 per day) amounts to €541 per person. If both the Level 2 and Level 3 seminars are booked together, an additional overnight stay from March 13 to March 14 can be added. Accommodation bookings are handled directly through the Terrassenhof. For participants staying off-site, the conference package (including lunch) must still be paid.

Location:

The seminar will take place at the Terrassenhof on Lake Tegernsee. Situated directly by the water and surrounded by mountains, the venue offers a serene and inspiring atmosphere, ideal for deep reflection, learning, and meaningful exchange.

Travel Information:

The exact address of the Terrassenhof Tegernsee is Olaf-Gulbransson-Straße 19, 83703 Bad Wiessee.
